Janitor / Cleaner [TEMP]
Pay Rate: $15/hr
Schedule: 3 days a week, 4-5 hours/ day ( ~15 hrs/week)
Location: Northeast Houston, TX 77049 (Crosby Fwy Area)
Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout offices, breakroom and restrooms, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for all. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure surfaces are clean and well-maintained.
- Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
- Carry out custodial duties in commercial settings, adhering to established protocols for cleanliness.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stocked and in good working condition.
- Follow health and safety regulations while performing all cleaning tasks.
*Experience*
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning methods and use of cleaning chemicals is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently .
