Your Role at Baxter

As the Manager, Multi-Vendor Solutions & Strategic Initiatives, you will guide complex, enterprise-wide programs that support the growth and evolution of Baxter's Multi-Vendor Solutions business. You will play a critical role in aligning leaders, teams, and external partners around shared priorities while driving initiatives from strategy through implementation and adoption.

Success in this role means building scalable solutions, improving how work gets done across the organization, and helping Baxter deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will serve as a trusted partner to leadership, providing structure, accountability, and strategic direction that enable transformational outcomes across a highly matrixed environment.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Deerfield, IL office.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring successful adoption and measurable business outcomes.
- Develop and execute program roadmaps, milestones, governance structures, and success metrics that align with organizational priorities and customer commitments.
- Partner with leaders across Service, Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, IT, Quality, and Legal to drive alignment and accelerate execution.
- Build scalable operating models and processes that enhance Baxter's Multi-Vendor Solutions capabilities and support long-term business growth.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges to maintain momentum and achieve program objectives.
- Facilitate decision-making among diverse stakeholder groups by creating clarity, removing obstacles, and fostering collaboration across teams.
- Communicate progress, business impact, and strategic recommendations to senior leaders through executive presentations, dashboards, and performance updates.

What You'll Bring

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex cross-functional programs, strategic initiatives, operational transformation efforts, or business improvement projects.
- Proven success managing multiple concurrent initiatives involving diverse stakeholders, business functions, and external partners.
- Experience influencing and driving results across matrixed organizations without direct authority.
- Strong strategic planning, program execution, problem-solving, and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and deliver measurable business results in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in healthcare, medical device, life sciences, service operations, supply chain, or commercial operations environments.
- Experience leading customer-facing strategic programs, business transformation initiatives, or multi-vendor service solutions.
- Demonstrated success designing operating models, improving business processes, and implementing scalable organizational capabilities.
- Experience presenting recommendations and program outcomes to executive leadership teams.
- Familiarity with change management methodologies and enterprise program governance practices.

The estimated pay range for this position is $120,000-$165,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less within the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change.
