Job Summary

The Esthetician delivers personalized, high-quality facial and skin care treatments that promote guest relaxation and skin wellness, creating a welcoming, safe, and professional spa experience through attentive consultation, skilled treatment, thoughtful product recommendations, and consistent care of each treatment room. This role provides guest treatments at Curio Spa. Service excellence is how we are known: polished, personal service at every guest touchpoint.

What You'll Do

Including but not limited to:

- Perform facial and skin care treatments per Florida licensure, the spa menu, and treatment protocols, tailored to each guest

- Consult with guests on skin concerns, goals, allergies, and contraindications; obtain informed consent and maintain boundaries

- Prepare treatment rooms with clean linens, products, and supplies, and reset promptly between services

- Provide attentive guest care from greeting through post-treatment guidance, including home-care advice

- Follow sanitation and infection-control procedures; clean and disinfect treatment surfaces, tools, and equipment

- Monitor comfort and skin response, adjust products and techniques as needed, and pause treatment when appropriate

- Document treatment notes, product use, and guest preferences accurately, following applicable privacy practices

- Coordinate with spa reception and leadership on timing, room readiness, supplies, and guest requests

- Recommend relevant spa services, enhancements, and retail skin care products without pressure; support rebooking

- Attend trainings, maintain active licensure and required education, and follow PMG Hospitality policies

- Guest satisfaction, positive feedback, and service recovery effectiveness

- Treatment quality, professionalism, and adherence to service protocols

- Treatment utilization, punctuality, and readiness for booked appointments

- Appropriate service enhancements, rebooking, and retail product recommendations

- Compliance with sanitation, guest privacy, safety, and Florida licensure requirements

What You Bring

- Active Florida facial specialist registration (Florida's title for estheticians), full specialist registration, or cosmetology license, in good standing

- Completion of a facial specialty or esthetics program meeting Florida registration requirements

- Professional esthetics experience preferred; upscale spa or resort experience is an advantage

- Skill in facial and skin care techniques, skin analysis, guest consultation, informed consent, sanitation, and professional boundaries

- Time management and discretion

- Experience in resort spa services and guest-focused wellness treatments preferred

- Listens closely, adapts each treatment, and respects guest comfort, privacy, and consent

- Builds trust and encourages return visits through excellent care rather than high-pressure selling

- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and reach, and use hands and fingers repetitively; occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds
