About this role

As a Senior Interface Engineer, you will play a key technical leadership role in delivering complex client implementations for Orders and Results Hub and Reference Lab Network . You will serve as a subject matter expert, taking ownership of solution design, technical implementation, troubleshooting, and delivery outcomes across multiple projects and integration workflows.

You will work independently to translate business and technical requirements into scalable, reliable, and supportable solutions while collaborating with clients, project managers, architects, and cross-functional teams. You will lead technical discussions, evaluate implementation options, identify and mitigate risks, and drive resolution of complex issues that require sound technical judgment.

Beyond individual project delivery, you will help improve implementation standards, mentor less-experienced engineers, contribute reusable technical knowledge, and identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and customer outcomes.

This is a senior individual-contributor role for someone who consistently demonstrates technical ownership, strong problem-solving skills, customer-facing leadership, and the ability to influence outcomes beyond their immediate assignments.

- Lead knowledge-transfer sessions and share best practices across the team.

- Review technical designs, configurations, and implementation approaches developed by other engineers.

- Create and maintain reusable implementation guides, troubleshooting documentation, and technical reference materials.

- Help reduce dependency on individual subject matter experts by enabling others to work more independently.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

- Identify opportunities to standardize implementation approaches, automate repetitive activities, and improve delivery efficiency.

- Contribute reusable technical solutions, tools, scripts, and documentation that benefit multiple projects or customers.

- Partner with product and engineering teams to identify functionality gaps and recommend improvements.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and integration capabilities that may improve scalability, reliability, and supportability.
