The team closely supports the policy divisions’ needs for data-driven insights for policy and programme formulation.

We are looking for an intellectually curious and independent researcher who has demonstrated the ability to take ownership of research projects, from framing research questions, through research design and quantitative analysis, to communicating insights and implications incisively. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated with a keen interest in driving the growth of Singapore’s digital economy and digital society.

- Apply rigorous quantitative methods, including econometric and data science techniques, to analyse administrative, survey and unconventional datasets and derive robust insights.
- Translate complex analysis into clear narratives and insights for diverse internal and external audiences.
- Contribute to strengthening research standards and analytical capabilities within the broader organisation.

Requirements:

- Background in Economics, Data Science or a closely related quantitative disciple.
- 4-8 years of experience in economic research, quantitative policy research or applied data analytics.
- Strong research capabilities, including the ability to independently formulate relevant research questions, apply analytical frameworks, select appropriate quantitative methods.
