Accounting Analyst – Reporting & Financial Consolidation (Traditional Chinese / Korean )

The role collaborates closely with stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region, particularly Taiwan and requires proficiency in Traditional Chinese for verbal communications and business discussions.  This position supports the month-end close and reporting process by preparing financial reports, consolidating financial and operational data, maintaining reporting accuracy, and assisting with ad hoc analysis. The role also supports a limited number of journal entry submissions through BlackLine and participates in issue resolution and special-case investigations as needed. Financial Reporting & Data Consolidation (Primary Focus)   Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Consolidate financial and operational data from multiple sources to produce complete and accurate reporting packages. Validate data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and ensure report completeness prior to submission. Support management reporting requirements and maintain reporting schedules. Generate and distribute standard reports for finance and business stakeholders. Assist in the development and enhancement of reporting processes, templates, and automation opportunities. Journal Entry Support Prepare and submit designated journal entries through BlackLine in accordance with established policies and controls. Ensure supporting documentation is complete and properly maintained. Coordinate with relevant accounting teams to resolve journal-related inquiries. Financial Analysis Perform limited financial analysis, trend reviews, and variance investigations to support business needs. Assist with special projects, exception reviews, and issue resolution activities. Provide analytical support for approximately 30% of role capacity based on reporting cycles and business requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration Support communication with Asia-Pacific stakeholders, including teams in Taiwan and Korea Participate in meetings, discussions, and issue-resolution activities conducted primarily in Traditional Chinese and Korean Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to gather reporting requirements and clarify financial information. Respond to ad hoc stakeholder inquiries and support special-case analysis as needed.       Language Requirements Required Languages English Reading, writing, and report preparation. Email communications and documentation are primarily conducted in English. Traditional Chinese (Mandarin) and Korean Required for verbal communication, meetings, conference calls, and stakeholder discussions. Ability to communicate complex financial and operational matters with Taiwan-based stakeholders as well as Korean       Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Experience 4-7+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, reporting operations, or shared services environments. Experience with financial report preparation, data consolidation, and close support activities. Experience working with multinational stakeholders and regional finance teams. Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, BlackLine, or equivalent platforms. Experience with SAP and BlackLine preferred. Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Data Bricks, Tableau or other reporting and automation tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. The individual should be comfortable communicating in Traditional Chinese during meetings and stakeholder discussions, while using English for reporting, documentation, and email communications, knowing Korean language is preferred. The role is best suited for someone with strong reporting and data management skills, rather than a heavily technical accounting or journal-entry-focused accountant.
