Software Engineer

FiveRivers Technologies is looking for a Full Stack Developer with 1–2 years of professional experience to develop, maintain, and deliver end-to-end features for client products. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain full-stack features across frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks from requirement analysis to deployment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions effectively.
- Manage tasks independently and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

- 1–2 years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Next.js, and Node.js.
- Working knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or MongoDB.
- Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs, including queries, mutations, schemas, and resolvers.
- Familiarity with Git and standard software development workflows.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Vercel and basic CI/CD practices.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs into applications.
- Competitive programming experience or a GitHub portfolio showcasing personal projects.
