Internship • Sales Forecasting & Analytics

Location: Olen, Venlo or Neckartenzlingen
Start: February 2027
Duration: 6 months

Are you interested in using data, analytics and AI to solve real commercial challenges?

As a Sales Forecasting & Analytics Intern , you will support a project within our Transportation business focused on improving forecast accuracy and predictability using historical sales data and our Salesforce opportunity funnel.

You will work closely with Sales and collaborate with colleagues across Finance and Operations, gaining hands-on experience with how data can support better commercial decision-making.

What will you work on?

You will help us:

- Analyze historical opportunities, including wins and losses, to identify patterns and key success factors

- Explore how data and AI can support more objective opportunity qualification and forecasting

- Assess sales pipelines, historical win rates and conversion probabilities

- Translate analytical insights into practical recommendations for Sales

- Explore how these insights could be integrated into existing commercial processes

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a background in Data Science, Business Analytics, Finance or a related field , and a strong interest in applying analytics and AI to real business problems.

You would be a good fit if you:

- Have some exposure to statistical analysis, data analytics and/or AI tools

- Enjoy working with data and identifying patterns

- Have strong analytical and logical thinking skills

- Are curious about how data can influence commercial decisions

- Are comfortable working in English

Experience with Python, Power BI or Salesforce would be an advantage, but is not required.

You will also be part of Belden’s EMEA Internship Program , giving you opportunities to connect with other interns, participate in development activities and gain exposure beyond your immediate team.
