You get it done
In this role, you help ensure that major players in the oil and gas industry keep running without interruption. From offshore drilling platforms to supply chains operating 24/7, you coordinate the delivery of critical goods, ranging from heavy industrial engines to urgent shipments. Every second counts, and you stay on top of every detail. Together with your colleagues, you develop smart, efficient logistics solutions. This is logistics at the highest level: You’re on it.

How you do this? You coordinate international shipments from order to dispatch, ensuring every step of the process runs smoothly. You liaise with the warehouse to confirm that goods have been received and inspected correctly, arrange the most suitable transport solution and ensure all required documentation and certifications are complete. You respond quickly when circumstances demand it and keep your key accounts proactively informed. With your attention to detail and commitment to customer service, you ensure an efficient and reliable logistics process. You achieve this by:

- processing and following up on customer orders in CargoWise, while keeping colleagues informed of the actions required;

- maintaining contact with road transport providers, shipping lines, airlines and international agents to coordinate shipments efficiently;

- proactively identifying and resolving delivery issues in a customer-focused manner, such as delays in transit or discrepancies that could affect timely and complete delivery;

- keeping your customer contacts actively informed about the status and progress of shipments, both by phone and email.

You bring

- several years of experience in air and/or ocean freight breakbulk shipments, for example in a role as shipping agent, forwarder, or project specialist;

- strong language skills in English, spoken and written;

- you are energetic, keep your commitments, and strive for the highest possible customer satisfaction.
