Job Description
Applications Management involves overseeing the lifecycle of software applications, including deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and optimization to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver value effectively.
We are looking for an individual who will be working on one of our strategic accounts from the Telecommunications industry, alongside other colleagues in Romania and from wider Endava.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, make sound decisions in complex and ambiguous situations, and take ownership of critical technical outcomes.
The role involves travelling aboard within the EU regularly.
Responsibilities:
- Provision and maintain cloud / lab environments
- Provision, configure and troubleshoot platforms
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for the wider team
- Manage automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code patterns
- Support operational stability, incident resolution and environment reliability
- Support the client test environments and tools
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and test-tool issues
- Provide ticket-driven infrastructure and engineering environment support
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in the Telecommunicators industry
- At least 3 years of recent, hands-on experience provisioning, integrating and troubleshooting large-scale RAN
- Good knowledge of DSP (Digital Signal Processing)
- Knowledge of radio emulators including DICE, C1, L1BP C2RS / MIB and CTX
- Cluster verification experience on big systems
- Experience in building and managing cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Communication and collaboration abilities
