About this role
Join Allianz Direct’s Pricing team as a junior/medior Pricing Analyst, where you have a valuable opportunity to build risk and demand models, set premiums, and drive profitable growth across European markets. This role is based in Rotterdam, where you will be part of a team of 14 people focused on the Dutch non-life insurance market. You’ll work together with an international community of experienced analysts and actuaries to share best practices, improve performance, and scale data-driven ways of working.
Your responsibilities:
• Develop risk and demand models for Motor and Non-Motor products to optimize commercial prices
• Design and improve tooling to create tariffs and follow up on their profitability
• Develop, propose, and implement pricing strategies
• Participate in the development and implementation of new insurance products
• Monitor product performance and market trends
• Communicate results and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
What you bring to Allianz Direct
You have strong analytical skills, a creative mind and you have a great interest in data-driven decision-making in the field of pricing. You are enterprising and you find innovations in the insurance industry interesting. You also bring:
• 0–6 years of experience in pricing, actuarial or analytics
• MSc in a relevant field such as econometrics, mathematics, data science or actuarial sciences
• Solid knowledge of relevant statistical modelling methods and an interest in machine learning techniques
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Fluent English; able to explain complex topics clearly to different audiences
• Dutch is an advantage, but not required

What we offer you:
• A starting salary of €56,000 per year, with the possibility of a higher offer depending on your level of experience and expertise
• A one-year contract with the intention of a permanent contract
• 38 vacation days based on a 40-hour work week

• 8% holiday allowance and a guaranteed bonus of 12.5% of the gross annual salary
• A pension with a small personal contribution of 3.5%
