- Ensure privileged foreign and applicable domestic materials are accurately captured on entries submitted to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Import, Customs & Physical Security Compliance

- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to support accurate and timely import and FTZ transactions.

- Support validation of HTS classifications, country of origin, manufacturer identification data, valuation, and import documentation.

- Oversee FTZ physical security, access controls, material segregation, inventory controls, and security procedures.

- Conduct periodic compliance checks and coordinate remediation of documentation, security, material-control, and process deficiencies.

- Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready import and FTZ records in accordance with retention requirements.

Regulatory Reporting & Continuous Improvement

- Oversee the Third-Party Zone Operator’s preparation and timely submission of the FTZ Annual Report.

- Validate tariff-deferred material activity, privileged foreign admissions and withdrawals, domestic material reporting, and inventory reconciliation reports.

- Partner with Logistics, Procurement, Receiving, Inventory Control, Manufacturing, Finance, and Information Technology to maintain compliant end-to-end processes.

- Train relevant personnel on FTZ identification, segregation, transaction, documentation, and escalation requirements.

- Improve transaction accuracy, data quality, material visibility, reporting, and duty-deferral processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, Finance, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

- Three to five years of experience in FTZ administration, import or customs compliance, international logistics, inventory control, or a related discipline.

- Working knowledge of FTZ operations, privileged foreign status, HTS classification, country-of-origin data, customs documentation, and regulatory recordkeeping.

- Experience with manufacturing inventory flows, ERP systems, and inventory reconciliation; SAP and FTZ ICRS experience preferred.

- Strong data-management, analytical, reconciliation, problem-solving, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
