Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and motivated individual to join our production team supporting the specialty sales branch of the Fresno Mission thrift stores.

The E-Commerce Support role is responsible for helping identify, research, prepare, list, organize, and fulfill donated merchandise for online sale. This position works with a wide variety of unique products including clothing, shoes, accessories, collectibles, books, electronics, home goods, vintage items, and more.

The ideal candidate is comfortable researching unfamiliar products, has a strong eye for detail and presentation, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience with online resale platforms is preferred, but a willingness to learn and follow established processes is equally important.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Research: Research donated merchandise to identify brands, models, styles, current market value, and other important product information.
- Product Selection: Help identify merchandise that is appropriate for online sale based on value, demand, condition, and current selling trends.
- Product Preparation: Clean, organize, measure, and prepare merchandise so items are ready to be photographed and listed.
- Product Listings: Create accurate and detailed listings for products sold through the Fresno Mission's online sales channels.
- Pricing Research: Research comparable sold items and current market pricing to help establish competitive prices.
- Photography & Presentation: Ensure products are presented clearly and accurately for online customers.
- Listing Accuracy: Verify titles, descriptions, measurements, condition, pricing, and other product details before listings are published.
- Inventory Management: Label, organize, and maintain e-commerce inventory so listed merchandise can be quickly and accurately located.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist with locating sold merchandise, preparing orders, packaging items, and completing shipments.
- Quality Control: Review merchandise and listings for accuracy, condition issues, missing pieces, or other concerns that may affect the customer experience.
- Team Support: Work with the production and thrift store teams to identify merchandise with strong online resale potential.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient e-commerce workspace.
- Assist with additional e-commerce projects and specialty sales needs as assigned.

Qualifications

- Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple products and tasks at once.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software and online platforms.
- Ability to research products and compare online market values.
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
- A good eye for product presentation and quality.
- Familiarity with platforms such as eBay, Poshmark, Facebook Marketplace, Shopify, or other online selling platforms is preferred.
- Previous resale, retail, e-commerce, photography, shipping, or inventory experience is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to learn about a wide variety of merchandise and product categories.

Salary Description
$16.90 / hour
