About this role

Join Intuit's Global Sales Compensation team and make a HUGE impact on how we reward the sellers who bring our products to customers. As the Staff Incentive Compensation Systems Analyst, you'll be the hands-on owner of how our incentive plans are built, credited, and paid, turning plan design into accurate, auditable builds in our incentive compensation management (ICM) platform.

This is a builder's role. You'll own plan configuration end to end, from requirements through rules, components, and plans to testing, deployment, and the reporting sellers and partners rely on. You'll also use AI to make that work faster, more consistent, and easier for the broader team to self-serve. You'll create and maintain reusable AI skills and workflows that automate plan building, diagnose crediting issues, and cut down on manual adjustments.

Join us and you'll work in a fast-moving environment where comp technology is evolving. You'll help shape how we build and run incentive plans for years to come, and do the best work of your life along the way.

Responsibilities

- Own incentive plan builds end to end. Translate plan design and requirements into rules, credit and measurement logic, components, and plans. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) with business partners, then stage and deploy builds with full documentation and Change Records for every change.
- Audit and validate before payout. Check builds against requirements and transaction data, define recurring audit checks, and make sure every seller is credited and paid accurately and on time across fiscal monthly and quarterly periods.
- Own the reporting experience in the ICM platform. Partner with sellers, sales managers, and enabling teams to understand their reporting needs, then deliver dashboards and reports in the comp tool that meet them. Keep reporting accurate as plans and rules change, and make the comp tool the go-to source so teams don't need to build their own.
- Diagnose crediting and payout issues. Research why orders aren't crediting, quotas aren't rolling up, or plans aren't paying, and resolve escalations from sellers, field managers, and Sales Ops partners.
- Drive down manual adjustments. Find the root causes of manual transactions, such as data feed gaps, missing automation rules, and upstream source issues, and build durable fixes instead of one-off corrections.
- Build AI tools for comp operations. Design, maintain, and improve reusable AI skills and workflows for plan building, crediting diagnostics, and data validation. Share them so the Sales Ops team can adopt and extend them.
- Partner across systems and teams. Work with tech and data teams to fix integration issues across ICM, Salesforce, and reporting tools. Support the Ops and enabling partners who rely on comp data, and define 'early warning' alerts that catch problems before they reach a paycheck.
- Communicate clearly to every audience. Explain build logic and changes in terms that make sense to sellers and field managers as well as Sales Ops leadership and enabling partners.
- Support future platform evolution. May support evaluation and transition of future comp platforms, including documenting current plan logic and helping validate builds in new tools.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in incentive compensation administration or ICM systems, including 3+ years of hands-on plan building in an enterprise ICM platform
- Highly preferred: SAP Sales Incentive Management / SAP Commissions (Callidus) experience, including rules, credit and measurement logic, quota and position setup, and plan XML import/export
- Comfortable learning new platforms quickly; experience translating plan logic between systems is a plus
- Hands-on experience building AI-assisted workflows or reusable AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Copilot) to automate or speed up analytical work
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel; able to reconcile large transaction datasets (hundreds of thousands of rows) and trace issues to root cause
- Experience building reporting in SAP SIM or another ICM platform, and quick to learn new reporting tools; skilled at turning stakeholder requirements into reports that meet expectations. Familiarity with Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar BI tools is a plus
- Working knowledge of Salesforce; familiarity with QuickBase is a plus
- Meticulous attention to detail and data accuracy, with a habit of documenting work so others can audit it
- Clear, concise communicator who can manage expectations across the organization, from sellers to leadership
- Self-starter who thrives with ambiguity and changing priorities in a fast-paced team environment
- Deep customer empathy: you know accurate, on-time pay builds trust with the people who serve our customers
