Front-End Intern

We are looking for a fresh graduate with strong technical foundations and a real interest in back-end development to join our new BlueX Integrations team in Chennai. You will learn from experienced developers while building integrations between BlueX and LMS platforms and other systems. Interns who perform well will be offered a full-time Back-End Developer role.

Role Description

- Build and style UI components in TypeScript, HTML and CSS using a modern framework, with guidance from the Front-End Developer.

- Help package components as web components that embed in LMS platforms.

- Test interfaces across browsers and devices and fix UI and accessibility bugs.

- Join stand-ups, code reviews and sprint planning, and learn the team's development standards.

What you will do as our Back End Intern:

- Build responsive, accessible UI components with a modern TypeScript framework (such as React, Angular or Lit).

- Help turn designs into working screens that embed in LMS platforms.

- Connect UI components to back-end REST APIs.

- Write unit tests and fix UI bugs.

- Take part in code reviews and learn Explorance development standards.

What you need to succeed in that role:

- Recent graduate (B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT or a related field.

- Good foundations in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript; exposure to TypeScript is a plus.

- Exposure to a modern framework such as React, Angular or Vue through coursework, projects or internships.

- Basic understanding of REST APIs, responsive design and Git.

- A portfolio, GitHub projects or hackathons that show real interest in front-end work.

- Good written and verbal communication, and eagerness to learn.
