Back-End Intern

We are looking for a fresh graduate with strong technical foundations and a real interest in back-end development to join our new BlueX Integrations team in Chennai. You will learn from experienced developers while building integrations between BlueX and LMS platforms and other systems. Interns who perform well will be offered a full-time Back-End Developer role.

Role Description

- Build and test small back-end features and API endpoints in C# and .NET 10, with guidance from senior developers.

- Write SQL queries and simple PostgreSQL functions; help with data mapping and migration scripts.

- Write unit tests and fix bugs found by QA.

- Join stand-ups, code reviews and sprint planning, and learn the team's development standards.

What you will do as our Back End Intern:

- Develop and test back-end features and REST APIs in C# and .NET 10 (ASP.NET Core).

- Write SQL queries, functions and scripts in PostgreSQL.

- Help build and test integrations with external systems.

- Write unit tests and fix bugs.

- Take part in code reviews and learn Explorance development standards.

What you need to succeed in that role:

- Recent graduate (B.E./B.Tech/MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT or a related field.

- Good foundations in object-oriented programming, data structures and databases.

- Exposure to C#, .NET, Java or a similar language through coursework, projects or internships.

- Basic SQL knowledge; exposure to PostgreSQL is a plus.

- Understanding of REST APIs and Git.

- Projects, GitHub work or hackathons that show real interest in technology.

- Good written and verbal communication, and eagerness to learn.
