PrideStaff – Greenville is seeking a dependable, active, and safety-focused Warehouse Associate for an immediate 1st-shift opening with a premier distribution customer in the Pelham Road area of Greenville, SC.
In this high-energy distribution role, you will be an integral member of the receiving department, responsible for unloading incoming trailers, sorting freight, verifying product using handheld RF scanners, and operating powered industrial equipment. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate strong job tenure, excellent attendance, and a team-first attitude.

Warehouse Associate Primary Responsibilities include:
Your main responsibility is the safe and efficient unloading, verification, breakdown, and scanning of incoming shipments to ensure seamless warehouse distribution flow. Trailer Unloading & Inbound Receiving: Efficiently unload incoming trucks and shipping containers; sort, verify, check in freight, and break down pallets/product accurately according to packing slips. RF Scanning & Inventory Recording: Operate handheld electronic RF scanners and mobile devices to accurately record product quantities, bin locations, and inventory movements into the system. Powered Industrial Equipment: Safely operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment including electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and walker-riders, including working comfortably at heights up to 25 feet. Equipment Care & Safety: Perform routine pre-shift equipment checks, operate machinery strictly within safety guidelines to avoid injury or damage, and promptly report mechanical issues to supervisors. Facility Organization & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse bay; complete custodial assignments and trash details according to the facility cleaning schedule. Teamwork & Culture: Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere, collaborate proactively with coworkers, and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Warehouse Associate Requirements include: Proven Work History Longevity: Demonstrated history of employment stability, with 1–2+ years of continuous tenure at previous employers. Experience & Background: Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred; prior order picker, forklift, or electric pallet jack experience is highly desired (willingness to train available). Equipment & Heights: Comfortable operating or learning to operate powered equipment and working at elevated heights up to 25 feet. RF Scanner & Tech Skills: Ability to learn and effectively use handheld RF scanning devices and basic inventory recording systems; basic math skills required. Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours; bend, reach, stretch, and lift up to 60 lbs. regularly, as well as push/pull carts weighing 100+ lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift. Attendance & Schedule: Excellent attendance history and reliability; full availability for 1st Shift (6:00am – 2:30pm, Mon – Fri) with willingness to work overtime as needed. Screening & Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
