We're looking for an energetic, friendly, and coffee-loving Barista to join our Starbucks team at the beautiful DoubleTree by Hilton in Downtown South Bend!
Our Starbucks is nestled inside our hotel's stunning nine-story glass atrium, right in the heart of downtown. From welcoming hotel guests to serving our favorite local regulars, every day brings new faces, great conversations, and opportunities to make someone's day a little brighter.

What You'll Be Brewing Up!
As one of our Starbucks Baristas, you'll do much more than make delicious drinks. You'll create memorable experiences, one cup and one smile at a time!
Your day might include:
- Starting Someone's Day Right! Greet guests with a warm smile and positive attitude.
- Creating Coffee Magic! Prepare handcrafted lattes, cappuccinos, espresso drinks, teas, refreshers, and other Starbucks favorites.
- Serving Up the Good Stuff! Help guests select pastries, breakfast sandwiches, snacks, and sweet treats.
- Sharing Your Coffee Knowledge! Help guests discover their next favorite drink and confidently answer menu questions.
- Making Connections! Get to know our regulars and make every guest feel welcome.
- Keeping Things Sparkling! Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting coffee bar while following food safety and sanitation standards.
- Staying Stocked & Ready! Restock ingredients, supplies, merchandise, and food items to keep everything running smoothly.
- Working Together! Support your fellow baristas during busy mornings and exciting hotel events.
- Delivering Hilton Hospitality! Create welcoming experiences that reflect DoubleTree's commitment to making every guest feel cared for.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
- You have a positive attitude and genuinely enjoy helping people.
- You thrive in a busy environment and can keep your cool when the coffee orders start rolling in.
- You're dependable, punctual, and ready to be part of a team.
- You're comfortable learning recipes, using coffee equipment, and operating a register.
- You take pride in keeping your workspace clean, safe, and organized.
- You're willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
- Previous barista, restaurant, or customer service experience is a plus, but a great attitude and willingness to learn are just as important!
