About this role
This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the levels posted, depending on their level of experience and depth of expertise.
To enable Northern Natural Gas to install or remove gas pipeline facilities across private property, roadways, railroads and governmental lands by acquiring right of way easements and permits or by purchasing real estate.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent work experience. (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.) Four to six years experience as a right-of-way agent and knowledge of land rights and title research, surveying principles, contract and real estate law.
Effective oral and written communication skills to present information accurately and understandably.
Influencing skills to negotiate and persuade.
Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
Certification as SR/WA by International Right-of-Way Association is desirable.
Person must be available for overnight travel.
