We are seeking a Benefits Partner to help manage and deliver Ericsson's U.S. and Canada benefit programs. You will support enrollment processes, collaborate with third-party vendors, and contribute to a team of benefits professionals, providing end-to-end support across benefits administration. This role reports to the Head of Benefits for Americas and supports approximately 5,000+ employees and retirees across the U.S. and Canada. If you are a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and collaboration skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary contact for benefit vendor relationships, including support on contract negotiations and renewals.
- Lead end-to-end development, management, and administration of one or more benefit programs, covering enrollment, communications, and strategic enhancements.
- Drive plan design changes and new program rollouts, using AI-supported scenario modeling to evaluate options.
- Support day-to-day administration of U.S. and Canada health and welfare programs, including medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, disability, FSA/HSA, and Employee Assistance Programs.
- Partner with carriers, insurers, retirement recordkeepers, and consultants on plan administration, renewals, and claims escalations.
- Support retirement and savings programs, including U.S. 401(k)/pension and Canada Group RRSP, DPSP, and pension plans.
- Manage benefits eligibility, annual enrollment, life events, and terminations; coordinate with Payroll on deductions and year-end reporting.
- Coordinate disability and leave cases, including STD/LTD, FMLA, and Canadian provincial leave requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, IRS rules, CRA tax rules, and Québec-specific requirements.
- Leverage generative AI tools to create clear employee communications and identify opportunities to automate routine benefits tasks.
- Audit vendor invoices, carrier billing, and enrollment data; support cost and utilization reporting.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Health Services, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in employee benefits with demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end programs.
- Experience working with healthcare data and navigating complex, multi-variable issues.
- Knowledge of medical claims data, benefit structures, and health and welfare regulations (ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, Section 125, IRS/DOL rules).
- Strong interpersonal, consultative, and program management skills with digital fluency and learning agility.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs.
- Strong data literacy with the ability to translate data and AI-generated insights into actionable recommendations.
- Experience in a global, dynamic environment is preferred.
- AI is becoming core to how we build and deliver at Ericsson. We're seeking talent who are ready to learn, adapt, and develop the skills needed to thrive in an AI-enabled future.
