Overview
BrightStar Care is building a team of Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) with pediatric experience to provide attentive, one-on-one care in Lompoc. You will support a toddlers health and daily care needs, including diaper changes, while communicating clearly with the client, family, and care team.
LVN Benefits

Shifts Available:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays
8:00am - 4:00pm
**We are looking for nurses who can commit long term to 2-3 shifts per week**
LVN Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility support.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate electronic documentation of patient progress and interventions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
LVN Qualifications
- Current California LVN license in good standing
- At least 1yr experience preferred
- 6mos - 1yr Pediatric experience
- Experience with ROM exercises
- Confident with nebulizer, oxygen, feeding, diapering and respiratory care
- Proficiency in medication administration and management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Reliability and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
