MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Who are we looking for?
To efficiently support R&D and Application development projects. Ensure accurate documentation, analysis, and presentation of experimental results while contributing to product development, quality improvement, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
What will you be doing?
- Work on R&D projects. New formulation development, optimization, statistical analysis, performance testing and scale-up.
- Work on Application development projects as per Customer requirement to support Industrial solutions business.
- Analysis and interpretation of experimental results.
- Analysis and qualification of alternate raw materials to support product localization, mitigate single-source risks, and manage supplier Force Majeure events.
- Maintenance, Calibration and operation of laboratory equipments.
- Scale-up and testing of new formulation or existing products in Pilot line.
- Prepare work instruction, standard operating procedures, calibration reports and analysis reports to comply with quality management system, ISO 9001-2015.
- Accountable for the timely completion of R&D and Application development projects.
- Must maintain detailed records of research activities. This includes both laboratory e-notebook as well as Technical Memoranda.
- Must maintain and safeguard confidential and trade secret information regarding products, processes, and techniques.
- Participation in symposia and lecture events
- Lectures at internal and external scientific events
Who are You?
- B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering or M.Sc. in Chemistry/Materials Science or Ph.D. in Chemistry/Materials Science is strongly preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience in surface finishing Industry.
- Experience in the field of electroplating technology is desirable.
- Strong ability to analyse project requirements and create new measurement methods with suitable equipment to perform complex tests.
- Experience in statistical data analysis using Minitab will be an added advantage.
