What You will Do:
- Design, development, testing, debugging and documentation activities for projects.
- Work on projects that require configuration and code customization in software products.
- Technically lead projects from requirement specification to implementation and commissioning
- Lead technical discussions with end customers to detail requirements and design solutions
- Lead team of developers to expand existing and create software to meet the changing needs of industry.
- Travel to site during software commissioning phases to ensure that integration testing and site acceptance testing is completed as required
- Provide mentorship and training to software team
- Travel is approximately ~20%
What You Will Bring:
- In-depth understanding of Software and IT/hardware setup including network configuration
- Experience with C Programming
- Experience in development of multithreaded applications using C
- Knowledge of interposes communications and thread synchronization
- Knowledge and understanding of Database Design and Programming (Microsoft SQL, Oracle)
- Knowledge and understanding of Windows Server
- General knowledge of Web Services (SOAP, REST), Socket Programming
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with GitLab, Sub-Version
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Electronics
- 10+ years of software development and/or programming experience
- Knowledge of warehouse automation a plus
- General understanding and knowledge of Virtualization (VMWare, etc.)
Pay Range: $135,000 to $150,000 per year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
We offer flexible work options, including hybrid arrangements, to support the need of the role and align with company policies. This position is located in Milwaukee, WI and is considered hybrid with 3 days required on-site.
- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
- Mostly Office Environments, occasional Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
