About this role
We’re looking for a driven, highly organized Marketing Coordinator who is excited to take ownership of meaningful projects and gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of marketing. You’ll work alongside company leaders, subject-matter experts, sales teams, and external partners to help bring Tru’s marketing initiatives to life and support the execution of high-impact campaigns.
Working closely with Growth Marketing, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing marketing programs to life, coordinating projects, and ensuring campaigns and events are executed successfully.
This is an opportunity to build broad marketing experience inside a fast-moving technology company while contributing to work that can ultimately help bring new medicines to patients faster.
What You’ll Do
Events and Conferences
- Coordinate TruTechnologies’ participation in industry conferences, trade shows, speaking engagements, executive dinners, and customer events.
- Manage event logistics, including registrations, sponsorship deliverables, booth requirements, shipping, signage, promotional materials, travel details, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain event timelines and ensure every deadline, deliverable, and onsite requirement is completed.
- Enable internal stakeholders, ensuring teams have what they need going into each event.
- Attend select conferences and events to support onsite execution.
- Track event participation, leads, engagement, costs, and overall performance.
Content and Digital Marketing
- Maintain the company's social calendars, scheduling and publishing content across LinkedIn, the TruTechnologies website, email campaigns, and other digital channels.
- Draft and edit social posts, emails, event promotions, website updates, and other marketing communications.
- Support the promotion, distribution, and repurposing of thought-leadership content, including articles, webinars, and case studies, across marketing channels.
- Monitor social and digital performance and recommend opportunities to improve reach and engagement.
- Help ensure that all published materials are accurate, current, and consistent with Tru’s brand and messaging.
- Support webinar execution, including speaker scheduling, registration, promotional activities, and post-event follow up.
Campaign Support
- Support integrated marketing campaigns targeting pharma sponsors, clinical research organizations, laboratories, and research sites.
- Assist with account-based marketing initiatives for priority prospects and strategic accounts.
- Edit and update sales collateral, presentations, one-sheets, buyer guides, customer stories, and campaign materials.
- Coordinate campaign deliverables across growth marketing, sales, business development, and external partners.
- Support campaign execution in Hubspot, including contact list management, email setup, campaign tracking, and basic reporting.
- Maintain organized libraries of approved brand assets, presentations, templates, photography, and marketing materials.
Marketing Operations
- Maintain marketing calendars, project plans, budgets, contact lists, and performance reports.
- Coordinate with agencies, designers, printers, venues, promotional vendors, and other outside partners.
- Assist with branded merchandise, customer gifts, direct-mail programs, and promotional inventory.
- Conduct competitive, industry, audience, and conference research.
- Support website updates, presentation development, internal communications, and special marketing projects.
- Track campaign and event metrics and help prepare reports for marketing and company leadership.
- Contribute to emerging marketing priorities as the company grows, bringing flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to support the broader team.
What We’re Looking For
- Two to five years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, events, public relations, business development, or a related field. Meaningful internship experience counts toward this requirement.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, detail-oriented, accurate work.
- Experience coordinating conferences, trade shows, or corporate events, along with exposure to digital marketing, campaign execution, or content development.
- Comfort working with executives, sales professionals, technical experts, customers, and external vendors.
- A proactive mindset; you notice what needs to be done and take initiative.
- Ability to learn complex ideas and communicate them in a clear, compelling way.
- Willingness to travel periodically for conferences, meetings, and company events.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field- or equivalent practical experience.
Experience That Would Be a Plus
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, clinical research, life sciences, or B2B technology.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, email-marketing platforms, content-management systems, CRM tools (particularly HubSpot), Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or marketing automation platforms.
- An interest in emerging technology, artificial intelligence, clinical trials, or the advancement of drug development.
You’ll Thrive Here If You Are
- Curious, resourceful, and eager to learn.
- Organized enough to keep multiple moving pieces on track.
- Comfortable moving between creative work and detailed execution.
- Energized by a growing company where priorities can move quickly.
- Collaborative, dependable, and willing to roll up your sleeves.
- Excited to contribute ideas - not simply wait for assignments.
- Motivated by work that combines innovation, technology, and meaningful real-world impact.
