- Reports to: Senior Kooth Engagement Lead
- Location: Regional Field-Based / Hybrid (Home-based with regular travel across contracted territory required)
About Us:
Kooth is a fast-growing, mission-driven organisation transforming access to digital mental health support across the UK and US. Listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM: KOO), our mission is to create welcoming, accessible spaces for personalised mental health care that helps young people thrive.
With 25 years of experience, Kooth has become a trusted leader in digital mental health, working alongside the NHS, government partners, and local communities to make high-quality support more accessible to young people.
Building on this foundation, we've expanded Soluna , our innovative digital mental health platform, across both the US and UK. First launched in California in 2024, Soluna has since expanded into New Jersey and Michigan. In September 2026, we reached another exciting milestone with the launch of Soluna by Kooth in the UK , bringing together our experience and innovation across both markets. Through professional mental health support, moderated peer communities, and self-guided tools, we're helping young people access the support they need, when they need it.
At Kooth, we're more than a digital mental health platform. We're purpose-driven, people-centred, and grounded in our values: Alongside You, Flexible, Compassionate, Committed, and Safe. If you're looking for meaningful work with measurable impact, you'll find it here.

What We’re Looking For:
The Kooth Engagement Lead is responsible for driving awareness, uptake, and sustained usage of Soluna by Kooth (for children and young people) and Qwell (for adults, where applicable).
Operating through a blended approach of face-to-face and virtual-first community engagement, this role acts as the dedicated Engagement Lead for specific contracted areas, while also collaborating flexibly across local, regional, and national levels. You will build scalable, repeatable partnership working by establishing deep community ties and robust referral pathways through live assemblies, staff training, and local multi-agency networks
While the core focus of this role is community-facing, virtual and hybrid engagement strategies (live virtual sessions, webinars, pre-recorded content, and digital partner toolkits) serve as a vital, flexible secondary channel to extend your reach and ensure continuous service visibility with both youth and professional/referrer audiences.
Beyond direct outreach, you will play a key role in internal practice development initiatives to elevate engagement quality and team best practice.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
Direct Youth Outreach (In-Person & Virtual Delivery)
- School & College Assemblies: Plan and deliver engaging, high-impact in-person assemblies and workshops directly to children and young people (CYP) across secondary schools, colleges, and higher education settings.
- Hybrid & Virtual CYP Engagement: Utilise live virtual assemblies and pre-recorded promotional sessions to engage hard-to-reach settings, primary school transition groups, or schools where virtual delivery is preferred.
- Awareness events: Host interactive stalls at Freshers’ Fairs, health awareness days, and youth events to build direct rapport with young people, distribute resources, and drive platform registrations.
Professional, Referrer & System Integration
- Educator & Staff Upskilling: Deliver concise face-to-face INSET sessions and live virtual briefings to teaching staff, school leaders, and pastoral teams to encourage signposting and service embedding.
- Healthcare & Community Referral Pathways: Build strong relationships with key healthcare and community referrers—including GP surgeries, CAMHS teams, A&E liaison units, Family Hubs, and youth charities—via site visits, virtual presentations, and self-serve toolkits.
- Parent, Carer & Trusted Adult Sessions: Host in-person and virtual information sessions, attend parents' evenings, and lead workshops to build trust, address stigma, and build awareness among parents and carers.
- Regional Network & Stakeholder Representation: Represent the organisation at critical regional network meetings to present Soluna and Qwell, liaising with Line Managers and Relationship Managers to ensure appropriate service representation.
Webinar Support, Events & Strategic Alignment
- Webinar Strategy Support: Co-host or support national and regional webinars for young people, parents/carers, educators, and healthcare professionals as part of the broader regional engagement strategy.
- Local & Regional Events: Represent Kooth at high-profile community events and meetings.
- Commercial & System Alignment: Collaborate closely with internal teams (including Commercial colleagues) to ensure local engagement plans align with commissioner priorities, KPIs, and regional population goals.
- Reporting & Commissioner Reviews: Prepare clear, data-led engagement summaries linking outreach activity to platform uptake; present findings directly during quarterly commissioner review meetings.
Practice Development & Team Collaboration
- Active Practice Development: Contribute to practice development groups by trialling innovative in-person and virtual delivery methods, refining presentation materials, and sharing effective field tactics.
- Team Contribution: Engage actively in team meetings, sharing regional insights, peer-mentoring, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
CRM & Operational Excellence
- Data & CRM Hygiene: Maintain up-to-date, accurate records of all outreach visits, virtual meetings, and contact sourcing in CRM and designated internal tracking tools.
- Data-Driven Strategy: Analyse monthly performance data to refine travel routes, target under-engaging areas, and adapt outreach approaches in discussion with your Line Manager.
