About this role
Executes the design, installation, and maintenance of network infrastructure and related technologies. Uses network management tools to analyze performance in collaboration with senior team members. Coordinates network changes, communicating with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions. Deploys networks and security policies using automated tools to enhance scalability and reliability. Serves as a technical liaison with customers and internal teams, maintaining network inventory and configuration data. Monitors and maintains network components independently, ensures proper functioning of hardware and software, and manages security and compliance policies. Supports mentoring peers, standardizing tasks, and troubleshooting connectivity issues, proactively addressing potential service impacts and resolving client problems. Some Network Service roles may develop and maintain standard and non-standard automation and scripts to optimize testing, operations, and network tasks, as well as create and customize dashboards, telemetry systems, and alerting mechanisms to monitor network health.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
8 years of experience in network engineering, information technology (IT), computer science, or related field experience
OR
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field AND 4 years of experience in network engineering, information technology (IT), computer science, or related field experience.

Data Analysis Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to produce actionable business insights.
Development Lifecycle Demonstrated understanding of software/application lifecycles from concept through delivery and support.
Network Security Demonstrated experience securing enterprise networks with modern security controls and monitoring tools.
Change Control Demonstrated ability in or knowledge of change control, including assessing risks and coordinating structured modifications to products or services.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools Demonstrated proficiency in applying IaC tools (e.g., Terraform) for automated infrastructure management.
Configuration Management and Deployment Tools Demonstrated ability in or knowledge of configuration management and deployment tools, including automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
Development Lifecycle Demonstrated understanding of software/application lifecycles from concept through delivery and support.

System Troubleshooting Experience:
4 years of experience troubleshooting various systems.
Network or Security Industry Certification:
Associate-level network or security certification.
Professional-level network or security certification.:
Professional-level industry network or security certification.
IT Service Management (ITSM) Certification:
Relevant industry recognized IT Service Management (ITSM) Certification.
