With innovative solutions, NETZSCH empowers its customers to create exciting products for a sustainable and innovative world!

Job Description

Your role as B2B E-commerce Global Tech Lead is to own the delivery and evolution of the NETZSCH Customer Portal for the Business Unit Grinding and Dispersing, built on Salesforce B2B Commerce and integrated with SAP S/4HANA.

You are the business partner for G&D stakeholders worldwide: you turn their priorities into a managed roadmap and portfolio, steer the teams and partners that deliver it, and make sure what the business needs is what actually gets delivered, with quality and stability built in from the start.

You bring enough Salesforce Commerce depth to lead technical decisions with architects and partners, and work comfortably in a matrix environment with multiple reporting lines, leading people and partners who do not report to you.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

- Act as the business partner for G&D stakeholders across regions, translating business goals into a prioritized portal roadmap;

- Manage the portal portfolio end to end: demand intake, business cases, prioritization, capacity and budget tracking;

- Run delivery governance: release planning, backlog management, milestones, risks, dependencies and status reporting to steering committees;

- Coordinate the workstreams that keep the platform evolving (UX, Salesforce development, SAP integration, quality, support and AI), across internal teams and external partners;

- Manage implementation partners and vendors: scope, SLAs, deliverables and performance;

- Lead technical decisions together with Salesforce architects and partners, making sure B2B Commerce and SAP integration choices support scalability, security and performance;

- Oversee sustainment: incident and ticket management, SAP integration escalations and platform health KPIs;

-  Drive adoption with sales, customer service and end customers, measuring portal usage and business value;

- Prioritize AI use cases for the portal based on business value, from experimentation to scale;

- Ensure user journey and usability improvements stay aligned with the NETZSCH brand;

- Authority to make final decisions on technical standards and quality gates, and to approve or hold releases against defined release criteria;

- Right to propose prioritization and reject requirements that compromise platform stability.

Required Skills

-  5+ years in digital platform projects (e-commerce, CRM or customer portals), with at least 3 years leading projects or portfolios end to end;

- Solid knowledge of Salesforce B2B Commerce (Commerce Cloud), deep enough to challenge architects and lead technical decisions;

- Proven experience as a business partner to senior stakeholders, aligning competing priorities and saying no when needed;

- Solid project and portfolio management practice: planning, budgeting, risk management and steering committee reporting, in agile and hybrid models;

- Understanding of Salesforce and SAP S/4HANA integration concepts: middleware, APIs, order, pricing and availability flows;

- Comfortable in a matrix organization with multiple reporting lines, leading through influence rather than hierarchy;

- Excellent English language skills and experience working with international stakeholders;

- Structured, self-reliant working style with the ability to balance business pressure and technical quality.

Nice to Have

- Project or portfolio management certification (PMI, PRINCE2, SAFe or similar);

- Salesforce certifications in B2B Commerce, Administrator or Architect tracks;

- Hands-on background in Salesforce development (LWC, Apex) or SAP integration (SAP Integration Suite);

- Experience in industrial or manufacturing B2B companies;

- Exposure to AI in Salesforce (Einstein, Agentforce) or LLM-based use cases.
