Director, Enterprise Business Learning

The Enterprise Business Learning team drives the growth of enterprise-critical capabilities that enable American Express to compete and lead in a rapidly changing environment. The Director, Enterprise Business Learning will lead the design and implementation of learning and change strategies that build critical business capabilities — with a particular focus on AI literacy and application alongside other key business capabilities across the organization.

This role sits at the intersection of enterprise transformation, learning strategy, and change leadership. The ideal candidate is a strategic thought leader who thrives in dynamic environments, collaborates across functions, and influences at all levels to embed new skills, behaviors, and mindsets that accelerate business outcomes.

- 8+ years in enterprise learning, organizational change, or capability development.
- Knowledge of AI concepts and applications in business, with the ability to translate them into accessible learning programs.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale learning and change initiatives that drive measurable business impact.
- Excellent program management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to lead a high performing team to deliver strong results.
- Proven ability to work across highly matrixed organizations and navigate ambiguity with an enterprise mindset.
