What You'll Do

We are seeking a strong candidate with experience and passion to join as an AMR Vendor Management Specialist, located in São Paulo, Brazil.

Key responsibilities include:

- You run day-to-day vendor operations for BCG X in the AMR region; for our consulting teams, our suppliers as well as contractors, you are a focal point of contact
- You support vendor logistics end-to-end, from sourcing, contracting & negotiating, onboarding to deployment, quality assurance and financial settlement, escalating early to senior colleagues when appropriate
- You manage your regional stakeholders, set clear expectations, and collaborate closely with vendor managers globally
- You apply BCG vendor policies, compliance practices and digital tools (including SAP Fieldglass and BCG-approved AI tools) to protect BCG and our clients, and help ensure accurate timesheets, invoices and spend tracking with the BCG X FinOps team
- You identify and propose improvements to our vendor management processes, and help integrate other teams across BCG

- Owning your work: completing tasks independently, planning around high-impact priorities, proactively proposing next steps, and delivering accurate work on time, escalating early when a deadline is at risk
- Solving problems resourcefully: considering options before escalating, using data to analyze vendor, timesheet and invoice information accurately, and validating any AI-assisted output before sharing it
- Communicating clearly: writing and speaking concisely, keeping stakeholders updated on progress, choosing the right channel, and adapting detail and tone to your audience
- Collaborating across time zones and cultures: managing expectations, welcoming input, seeking guidance when conflict arises, escalating when needed, and sharing knowledge and tools with colleagues
- Acting with integrity: protecting BCG and client interests, handling confidential data and security risks responsibly, taking accountability for errors, welcoming feedback, and staying composed under changing priorities

What You'll Bring

Must have

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience working in a PMO or operations role embedded into a geographically distributed team
- Verbal and written fluency in English combined with a strong record in professional stakeholder communication
- Strong skills in MS Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Willingness to come to the office in São Paulo at least 3 times a week

Nice to have

- Experience with professional Vendor Management Systems (SAP Fieldglass preferred)
- Experience in procurement or vendor management

We expedite contractor sourcing, onboarding, and deployment, fostering agility in BCG X’s delivery to clients.

Through diligent monitoring, and in close collaboration with the BCG X FinOps team, we guarantee accurate timesheets and invoices, eliminating overcharging and overspending. Our meticulous tracking and forecasting of vendor spend and trends support the BCG X leadership to make better-informed decisions.
