Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Engineer (QE) to ensure the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications. The candidate will be responsible for validating application features, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality software.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual and functional testing of applications.
- Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute test cases and document test results.
- Identify, report, track, and retest defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform regression, smoke, and functional testing as required.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements.
- Maintain test documentation and provide regular testing status updates.
- Support test automation activities and contribute to improving QA processes.
- Ensure application quality meets business requirements and acceptance criteria.
Required Skills
- Understanding of software testing principles and the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience in manual and functional testing.
- Knowledge of test case design, test execution, and defect management.
- Familiarity with defect-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
