About Our Family

We’re a family of five with three young children, a sweet 7-year-old red heeler, and a home that’s always full of activity. Between school and preschool, Mandarin immersion homework, jiu-jitsu, and life with a new baby, our days have a lot of moving parts! We’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of family life and can help bring a little more ease and consistency to our everyday routines.

We’ve put a lot of thought into how our home is organized, with established systems and routines that help everything run smoothly. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining those systems, notices the little things, and enjoys keeping a household feeling organized and cared for. From staying on top of laundry and meal prep to making sure the kids’ things are ready for the next day, the small details make a big difference in our home.

With both parents balancing busy professional responsibilities, we deeply value someone who is proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of the day-to-day. Just as importantly, we want someone who brings a warm, patient presence to our home, especially as our children each have their own personalities and needs. The right person will become a trusted part of our family’s support system, helping our home feel a little less hectic and a lot more manageable.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You're a proactive, detail-oriented professional who takes ownership of the little things that keep a household running smoothly. You notice what needs attention, remember the family's preferences, and take pride in maintaining established systems without needing constant direction. You're organized, dependable, and comfortable balancing a variety of responsibilities, from household resets and meal prep to school pickups and helping with homework.

You're warm, patient, and adaptable, with an understanding that three young children can have very different personalities, needs, and big feelings. You bring a steady, supportive presence to the home, communicate proactively, and are comfortable working independently while a parent works from home. You're also happy to pitch in wherever needed, whether that means preparing for the week ahead, managing errands, or helping the household adjust when schedules change.

Above all, you're someone the family can trust to follow through, treat their home with care, and make thoughtful decisions throughout the day. You're comfortable around dogs, enjoy being part of a family's daily rhythm, and understand that great household support means anticipating needs before they become another thing on someone's to-do list. Mandarin language skills are a plus, but not required.
