Warehouse Associate / Material Handler

Location: Parsippany, NJ

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shift)

Compensation: $19.00 / hour

Position Overview

We are currently recruiting a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Associate on behalf of our client in Parsippany, NJ. In this role, you will support our client’s daily warehouse operations, including receiving inbound shipments, staging inventory, operating standard material-handling equipment, and loading outbound trucks.

### Key Responsibilities
Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming freight from trailers and containers; safely load outbound orders and secure cargo for transit. Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and manual or electric pallet jacks to transport materials across the facility. Material Handling & Staging: Move, sort, stack, and stage pallets, crates, and cartons according to warehouse organization standards. Order Support: Assist with picking, packing, sorting, and pallet wrapping (shrink wrapping) as needed. Inventory & Quality Checks: Inspect incoming goods for visible damage, verify piece counts against bills of lading (BOLs), and report any discrepancies. Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

### Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 1+ years of warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience preferred. Equipment Skills: Prior experience operating a forklift (FL certification is a plus; recertification provided on-site) and pallet jacks (manual/electric). Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand/walk for 8-hour shifts, and bend, squat, and reach repeatedly. Reliability: Strong attendance record, punctuality, and dependable transportation to Parsippany, NJ. Safety Mindset: Commitment to following warehouse safety protocols and PPE guidelines at all times.
