Assisted Living Dining Assistant | Starting pay between $15.50 - $16/Hr. | Mansfield, Texas

THE JOB : As an Assisted Living Dining Assistant, you'll help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for our residents. With your kindness, attention to detail, and dependable teamwork, you'll make a difference from the moment your shift begins. Working closely with the team at Community Name, you'll play a key role in delivering the exceptional care and experience that defines our community.

THE STARTING RATE: $15.50 - $16 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

- Serves residents and guests seated in the dining room in a professional manner following established procedures.

- Assists in drink and food preparation for the residents and performs assigned tasks in clean up, washing the dishes and setting up and taking down the dining areas.

- Preparing and serving snacks to include replenishing stock items in the common area refreshment centers for the residents.

- Maintains procedures to meet safety and sanitation standards in order to assure compliance with governmental regulations.

- Adheres to the regular schedule of work activities and assignments to assure effective food service.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred, but not required

- Required license/certification, if applicable

- A caring attitude and reliable attendance

- High school graduate or GED preferred

- Must possess Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.

- High Experience and/or knowledge of volume meal preparation and serving for large groups.

- Some supervisory experience preferred. Ability to read and understand recipes, work in a team environment, work flexible shifts, handle multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing

- Must be 18 years of age or older
