Welder / Fabricator
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our production team. This role involves reading blueprints, preparing materials, fitting and assembling components, and performing welding to produce quality fabricated parts. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and cut lists.
- Identify structural shapes, materials, and fabrication requirements.
- Operate fabrication equipment, including shears, brakes, rolls, ironworkers, saws, and welders.
- Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials.
- Fit, position, and assemble components within specified tolerances.
- Perform welding and use hand and power tools as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Maintain reliable attendance and work overtime when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3+ years of fabrication experience required.
- 1+ year of welding experience required.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand weld symbols.
- Experience operating fabrication machinery and material-handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work overtime as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
