Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to loss prevention. The Security Officer will utilize surveillance equipment and enforce protocols to ensure the safety of the premises.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in conflict situations.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying potential security risks.

Qualifications

- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card)
- Open Availability (Note that open availability is not meaning Flex, they will have set days TBD)
- Guard Shack experience is a plus but not required
