About this role

Description

Devices & Services Trust, Privacy and Accessibility (DSTPA) is responsible for maintaining and raising the trust bar for Amazon customers across a diverse set of 30+ Devices and Services. We offer horizontal services for builders to ensure trust, privacy, and accessibility is built into our products and services. We also build customer-facing capabilities that provide customers with control and transparency while reducing trust risks, and enable partner teams to innovate with appropriate guardrails for privacy, safety and appropriateness, creative content, fairness, veracity, security, and accessibility.

The DSTPA team is seeking a Program Manager to join our Trust Review & Incident Management team. In this role, you will own high-impact, cross-functional programs that advance trust, privacy, and enablement across our products and services. You will build and manage the program plan, map dependencies across teams, surface risks early, and keep stakeholders aligned on a shared bar and timeline. You will use data to drive insights and decisions, and you will partner across the organization to turn ambiguous problems into clear, executable plans. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position that directly contributes to maintaining customer trust and regulatory compliance.

A successful candidate will have an established background driving a complex program portfolio with considerable impact, excellent program-management, problem-solving, and communication skills, and be comfortable interacting with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels. The candidate should have a history of driving deep insights from complex data, possess business judgment including the acumen to quickly assess the viability of key decisions, the ability to write compelling business documents, and drive outcomes for senior leadership. The ability to influence cross-functionally and across the organization, at all levels, will be absolutely critical to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end, high-impact programs: define scope, milestones, and success metrics, and translate goals into an executable roadmap with clear owners
- Map and manage cross-team dependencies, identify risks and blockers early, and drive them to resolution before they affect delivery
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Operations, Legal, and Privacy teams to ensure timely deliverables for key projects and initiatives
- Analyze data and dive deep into processes to derive business-critical insights for improving systems and workflows
- Write compelling business documents (narratives, status reports, escalation briefs) and drive outcomes for senior leadership
- Keep stakeholders aligned through clear written status and decision documents, and hold partner teams accountable to shared commitments
- Identify process improvements and opportunities to scale and automate, building a data-oriented culture within the team
- Communicate program status, risks, and blockers clearly and escalate as needed to keep delivery on track

A day in the life
As a Program Manager on the Trust Review & Incident Management team, you will work on high-impact, high-visibility programs that directly impact our customers. You will ideate, analyze data, generate insights, develop proofs of concept, write compelling business cases, and gain agreement from leaders across levels and functions to implement solutions. You will collaborate with leaders from cross-functional teams — including trust, privacy, accessibility, security, engineering, legal, and product — to drive programs from ideation to implementation effectively.
