Dairy Application Intern – Your future position?

Location: 1 Woodlands Avenue 8
Reporting to: Senior Application Technologist

Core Responsibilities

Dairy Product Application

- Support in developing innovative product formats/concepts for beverages, exploring different flavors and ingredients.
- Independently work on innovation projects (Dairy and Plant based) under the supervision of Sr Application Technologist.
- Support in conducting evaluations of demos/market samples and record the data in relevant database
- Support in entering application recipes in our database, when needed.

- To apply flavours into different dairy end products for evaluations
- Use of dairy equipments in the lab with proper training
- To support in shelf-life monitoring tests of dairy samples
- Upkeep of flavour library

Stability Testing(when needed)

- Prepare stability test prototypes
- Support collection of stability data Taking consistent photos of the prototypes in the photobox.
- Editing photos to be presented in the report.

- Prepare reports

Collection Review

- Support collection reviews by applying flavours into simple bases, participating in sensory evaluation sessions of market products and flavour samples, as well as conducting sensory mapping and data analysis.

Lab Maintenance

- Maintains the inventory list of raw materials, flavors and finished products.
- Ensure that items are replenished and within shelflife.
- Maintain a clean laboratory environment following EHS policies and good

laboratory practices.

Final Presentation & Report

- Present the learnings, Projects outcome with demos to the key stakeholders at the end of the contract period.
- Prepare report with all the technical records on the innovation projects handled.

Main Requirements

- Degree in Food Science or Chemistry
- Able to commit to internship as a semester requirement (this opportunity is not open to summer internships)
