CDL-A Regional Driver | Sam's South Texas - Houston
Pay Details & Schedule
- Average Weekly Pay: $1,300
- Minimum Daily Pay: $220
- Additional mileage-based performance bonus opportunities
- Bonus mileage thresholds: 1,700, 1,800, 1,900, and 2,000 miles
- Schedule: 6 days on, 2 days off
- Home weekly; Day and night shifts available
- Some holiday work required as needed
- Runs follow Texas Hours of Service regulations.
Job Details
- Regional dry van operation serving Texas only
- Routes include Houston, San Antonio, Laredo, McAllen, Brownsville, and Harlingen
- Approximately 250-mile operating area
- Approximately 1,300 weekly miles
- No-touch freight
- Varied customers; this is not a dedicated account
- Freight includes drop-and-hook, live loads, live unloads, and preloaded trailers
- No short-haul pay
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 6 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record; No SAP drivers
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Must be available for a 6-days-on, 2-days-off schedule.
- Must be willing to work some holidays as needed.
- Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required.
