About this role
Milele is a renowned name in the UAE’s automotive industry, and we’re looking for a demand planning and commercial professional to join our Head Office team. If you can forecast demand accurately, negotiate hard with international suppliers and speak French fluently, this role gives you real ownership.
About the role You will own demand planning, procurement and supplier negotiations for a fast-moving, international automotive business. You’ll set the forecast, secure the best terms from suppliers, keep stock healthy and lead a small team, working closely with Sales, Finance and Operations.
What you’ll do
- Build and manage demand forecasts from historical data, market trends and sales inputs, aligned to sales targets and budgets, and keep improving forecast accuracy.
- Lead negotiations with international and local suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms, protecting our margins and long-term relationships.
- Deal directly with French-speaking suppliers and partners, in writing and in conversation.
- Oversee the full procurement cycle, including PFIs, POs, DNs and documentation, and resolve delays before they hit delivery.
- Track stock levels, ageing and replenishment, and act early on slow-moving vehicles through pricing or procurement decisions, so availability always meets customer demand.
- Act as the link between Sales, Finance and Operations, and give management clear KPI reports and dashboards with practical recommendations.
What we’re looking for
- 4 to 6 years in demand planning, supply chain or procurement, ideally in automotive, trading or distribution.
- A proven record of supplier negotiations with measurable results.
- Fluent English and French, spoken and written (mandatory). Arabic or another global language is an advantage.
- Strong ERP skills (NetSuite, SAP, Matrix or similar) and advanced Excel.
- Strong reporting and dashboarding skills. Power BI is a plus.
- Experience leading a team or cross-functional projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field. An MBA or professional certification is a plus.
- The ability to work independently, decide with confidence and be available across time zones when the business needs it.
