Our culture is grounded in our core values and our very strong commitment to delivering every day for our clients and their customers, getting everyone home safely, and caring about your wellbeing.You will be responsible for maintaining and implementing safety, health, environmental and quality controls and procedures within the Division ensuring compliance with legislation, standards, policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Adhere to and maintain compliance with all Health and Safety procedures within your workMonitor and support the implementation and operation of the Integrated Management System covering ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standards along with other industry specific certifications / accreditationsCompile and provide SHEQ documentation to support the operation of the Division and projectsSHEQ point of contact for PSCS activities on projectsPrepare and deliver SHEQ training courses including conducting training assessmentsConduct incident/accident investigations and prepare reports for internal/external purposesPrepare Safety & Environmental Plans for various projects in line with client and Actavo’s targetsDevelopment, delivery, implementation and maintenance of Divisional specific SHEQ policies and proceduresEnsure the provision of all safety and environmental reports as and when required to the respective departments/areasConduct SHEQ audits including the management and maintenance of the audit trackerDaily and weekly reporting to Management including maintaining the various SHEQ registersCarry out regular risk assessments and site inspectionsProvide advice and direction to staff and continuously promote a positive Health and Safety culture within the businessInteract with regulatory bodies, partners and external bodiesRequirements:Minimum of 3 years SHEQ Advisor experience preferably in Scaffolding or ConstructionHold a recognised SHEQ qualification (Level 7/8)Full, clean driving licenceISO Internal Auditor experience as an advantageMember of IOSH or similar professional body.Benefits:Pension planLife assurance – 4 times your annual salaryEmployee assistance programmeRefer a friend schemeMaternity payEducational assistanceCareer progression opportunitiesLong Service Awards
