Meet the Team
Millennium’s Equities business operates in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment, combining deep market expertise with the firm’s resources, technology, and rigorous risk framework. The AI Advisory team connects investment professionals across Equities with Millennium’s AI technology offering, partnering closely with Applied AI, engineering, and product teams to identify practical opportunities to enhance research and investment processes.

What You'll Do
• Partner with Portfolio Managers and analysts across Equities strategies to understand research and investment workflows, identify high-value AI use cases, and support adoption of the firm’s tools.
• Translate investment workflows and pain points into clear, actionable requirements for Applied AI and technology product teams.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to prioritize features, test early builds against real investment use cases, and provide structured feedback ahead of broader rollout.
• Drive adoption through demos, workshops, and one-on-one working sessions; track usage and outcomes to build repeatable playbooks for other teams.
• Gather and share compelling AI use cases and examples that demonstrate value for investment teams across the firm.
• Identify recurring workflows across sectors and strategies within Equities and advocate for scalable, shared solutions rather than one-off builds.

What You Bring
• 5+ years of hands-on equity research experience as an investment analyst or Portfolio Manager, including financial modeling, thesis development, coverage maintenance, and experience working against a P&L or recommendation track record.
• Buy-side experience, ideally within a hedge fund, multi-manager platform, or long-only asset manager; sell-side equity research experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience partnering with technology product or engineering teams, including gathering requirements, testing products, prioritizing features, or serving as the business owner for a tool or platform.
• Hands-on fluency with current AI tools, including chat interfaces, agents, and coding assistants, with a strong curiosity about their application to the investment process.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging for senior Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, and software engineers.
• High ownership, sound judgment, and a demonstrated track record of delivering results.
• Experience across multiple equity strategies, such as fundamental, systematic, event-driven, or volatility strategies, is preferred.
• Familiarity with alternative data, research platforms, market data infrastructure, or client-facing advisory, solutions, or consulting work is preferred.
