Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Low Voltage Electricians for projects located in or around Beltsville, MD . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-$35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install CCTV and IP video surveillance systems
- Install and service access control systems
- Install and configure Keyscan, Axis, IDIS, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, and Potter systems
- Test, commission, and troubleshoot low voltage security systems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on security and access control systems
- Work from ladders and in ceiling spaces as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Previous low voltage electrical experience
- Experience installing CCTV, IP video surveillance, and access control systems
- Experience with Keyscan, Axis, IDIS, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, and Potter systems preferred
- Ability to install, configure, test, and troubleshoot security systems
- Comfortable working from ladders
- Ability to work in tight ceiling plenums and confined spaces
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Must have tools of the trade
- Proper PPE required
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
