Fabrication Shop Maintenance Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Fabrication Shop Maintenance Technicians for projects located in or around Knoxville, TN. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, saws, and other fabrication equipment

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime

- Perform preventative maintenance and equipment calibrations as required

- Conduct minor in-house welding and structural fabrication repairs on machinery, equipment, and shop fixtures

- Maintain shop tools and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation

- Identify potential equipment issues before they impact production

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and repair documentation

- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Requirements:

- Previous industrial maintenance or fabrication shop maintenance experience

- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

- Experience working with CNC plasma cutters, press brakes, shears, saws, and related fabrication equipment preferred

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Ability to work independently and prioritize maintenance tasks effectively

- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work as part of a team
