About this role

GTM Enablement drives sales and customer success performance by building the strategic programs, content, and operating rhythms that keep high performing teams remaining effective as the business evolves,  delivering real-time enablement that moves at the speed of the business.

As a GTM Business Partner, you're the embedded enablement strategist for a specific business within the organization's portfolio.  You are close enough to that business's leadership, priorities, and day-to-day reality that you can turn ambiguous business challenges into a concrete enablement plan. You bring the organization's shared enablement strategy to life for the business you know best.  Performance in this position is judged by the sales and revenue results that you drive, not just the initiatives you ship.

Your leverage comes from your depth of knowledge of the business. You know your business line well enough to be the first call when something changes, and that kind of fluency comes from genuinely knowing the business sales motions, not just the playbook. This role is well suited for someone who wants real ownership of a strategic relationship, and the credibility that comes from being genuinely embedded in the business they serve.

Responsibilities

Embedded Business Partnership

Business Relationship Ownership

- Own the day-to-day enablement relationship with the leadership of the assigned business.
- Build enough fluency in the business's goals, customer segment, and go-to-market motion to translate ambiguous priorities into a concrete enablement plan.
- Act as the front door for other Sales Enablement pillars when they have questions or need guidance related to your assigned business.

Strategic Enablement Planning

- Develop the enablement plan & programs for the assigned business, driving revenue and other sales KPIs by connecting the business specific priorities to the Sales Enablement Organization's broader enablement strategy.
- Identify gaps within the assigned business, build a plan to proactively address those identified performance gaps.
- Prioritize enablement delivery based on data, sizing gaps by their likely impact to business KPIs not to a checklist of action items.

Program Execution

Program Delivery

- See enablement programs through to execution for the assigned business including, skill development, product knowledge, and technology adoption, using the organization's established content, tools, and standards.
- Adapt program delivery to the specific context of the assigned business without deviating from the organization's shared frameworks.
- Suggest process improvements or lightweight automation where delivery for the assigned business repeats or creates friction. Do this within the organization's shared frameworks, not around them, and route the suggestion to whoever owns that framework.

Content & Resource Application

- Apply the organization's existing content and playbooks to the assigned business's specific needs, rather than building parallel materials from scratch.
- Identify where existing content or programs no longer fit the business's reality, diagnose the root cause, and drive the solution. This could be a one of solution or a broader organizational recommendation.

Insights & Escalation

Performance Visibility

- Analyze enablement program performance for the assigned business against revenue and sales metrics, using the organization's shared measurement framework, and translate findings into prioritized, data-backed recommendations for what to invest in next.
- Surface early signals, whether from the business or from program data, that a priority is shifting or a program isn't landing.

Escalation & Feedback

- Bring data-backed escalations on resourcing conflicts, cross-business trade-offs, or standard-versus-reality mismatches to the Senior Manager. Provide next step solution options.
- Feed insights from the embedded relationship back into the organization's broader enablement strategy.

Qualifications

Experience & Track Record

5+ years in enablement or a related field, with experience operating as an embedded partner to a specific business or segment rather than running enablement broadly.

Business Partnership

Demonstrated ability to build credibility with business leadership fast — translating ambiguous priorities into a concrete plan with minimal direction.

Program Execution

Proven ability to see enablement programs through to delivery using existing tools, content, and frameworks, adapting to a specific business context without building parallel systems.

Business Acumen

Working knowledge of the go-to-market motion, customer segment, and competitive context of the assigned business, with the judgment to connect enablement work to what that business is actually trying to achieve.

Judgment & Escalation

Sound judgment about what to resolve independently versus escalate — this role carries real ownership of a relationship and a plan, but works within the organization's shared standards rather than around them.
