Operations Intern - UK

Due to our continued success, we are expanding and looking for a passionate Operations Intern to join our team.
Role:
We are looking for a motivated Operations Intern to support our Operations Department with day-to-day departmental needs. This internship will help you acquire skills and abilities and provide you with vast knowledge into our various projects.
Responsibilities:
Inbound Shipment Coordination
- Recommend, issue, and track purchase orders for components, filling & finished goods
- Maintain full visibility of purchase orders and track through to delivery; point of contact & weekly open orders calls
- Obtains transport quotes and monitors costs in an offline tracker to ensure all quotes captured
- Partner with Logistics to ensure timely inbound delivery of POs via air, ocean & trucks
Inventory Management
- Receive purchase orders into ERP - flag any discrepancies on advanced Shipping Notice vs Receipt
- Conduct monthly inventory reconciliations on components at supplier locations
- Analyze and report monthly on excess, obsolete and discontinued
- Liaise with Demand Planning and warehouse management team to ensure that stock is available to be allocated accordingly
- Manages all warehouse transfers
- Fulfill outbound orders to ensure fulfillment accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Working towards your Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or relevant field
- Passion for the Beauty Industry, a plus
- Must have a positive, team player attitude
- Must communicate clearly and professionally, both verbal and written
- Must have the ability to problem solve and manage time successfully
- Must be highly organized and adaptable within a fast-paced environment
