About this role
Cafeteria employees enable Church employees and temple patrons to focus on their most important work of bringing souls unto Jesus Christ by providing food services in a simple and affordable way.
Under direction of supervisor, serves food at cafeteria line or at tables. Maintains clean work areas. Cleans and puts away dishes. May assist in some food preparation as needed.
- Intermediate competency in reading, writing, and mathematics required.
- Food service experience preferred.
- Must be able to obtain food handler permit where required.
- Good communication skills in English (or language of country where position resides) and courtesy when dealing with others.
- Must be able to lift/move/maneuver objects weighing up to 40 lbs, work while standing for entire shift, make repetitive movements, and work in a fast-paced environment.
