Process Performance Engineer

Job Description:

The main activities are:

SLB Creation:
- Create and maintain PERT / Sequencing and additional constraints.
- Create and maintain Standard Line Balancing (SLB) and Product-specific Line Balanicng (PLB) and thus enable SLB Adherence (e.g. through Production Pace Control (PPC in ACA/AH) or SQCDP (in ADS).
- Standard Line Balancing is done for each industrial standard (Batch / Step: rank or Date of design change) by mission package or full scope optional by category (light/medium/heavy) and transfered to the ERP Tool for primary demand.

- Ensure right level of competences of users/stakeholders on SLB. 
- Support methodology/process/AOS bricks related to SLB.
- Support digital tools, especially for SLB.
- Promote SLB usage to end user.

SLB Management:

Reduce Efficiency Loss via:
- Identifying, analyzing and drumbeating red spaces.
- Identifying, analyzing and eradicating white spaces.

SLB Adherence:

- Propose improvements based on gap analyisis (e.g. reliable sequencing of operations, time allocation per operation, Spent time vs. Time at Work Order Level).
- Propose improvements based on feeback loops (e.g. from manufacturing performance (SLB Adherence kpi), SLB MFT or from Production Pace Control (PPC in ACA/AH) or SQCDP (in ADS). 
- Challenge time definitions to be robust, reliable and sustainable with respective methodology (MTM/STV in ACA, QTC (Quick Time Calculation) in AH, MTM/V3T/Clocking in ADS, all three in Airbus Atlantic). 
- Propose improvements in terms of routing granularity to meet efficiency as well as effectivity targets.
- Check ME Golden Rules and connect with Process Engineer (PE in ACA) / Serial Process Engineer (SPE in AH/ADS).

Early Industrialization:

- Evaluate industrial impacts of modifications.
- Support the Industrial Architect for industrial set up evolution analysis (e.g. IDP in ACA).
- Translate industrial requirements to design and supply chain.
