About this role

Full-time · 3 openings: 6 AM, 9 AM and 3 PM starts

A great coach isn't measured by one hard session. It's measured by clients who keep showing up, keep improving and keep renewing.

We grew from one club to four in two years, with more on the way. We're hiring Lead Elite Coaches who come in confident they can fill their own book and are just as capable of filling the team's books. When you sell training that another coach delivers, you get paid on it.

What you'll own

- Your sessions. Coach 1:1, semi-private and small-group sessions with clean technique, safe progressions and real energy.

- The standard. Model clean technique and coaching habits in every session so newer coaches have someone to learn from. Coaches who help develop others are first in line for head coach and leadership roles.

- Your book. Own your clients' results in and out of the gym. Assess new clients, build programs around their goals, coach nutrition and accountability, and adjust as they progress. Follow up when someone misses a session, and rebook before a package runs out.

- The floor. Be a familiar face during your shift. Learn members' names and goals, and turn first sessions into clients who stay.

- The team's books. Turn floor conversations, assessments and referrals into packages for yourself and the other coaches. When your schedule is full, keep selling and hand clients off to the right coach.

- Your numbers. Revenue, client retention, client experience scores and on-time session check-ins. These decide your level and your bonus, and you'll review them with Michael, our Director of Training and Member Results, and your GM.

What you bring

- A current CPT from a nationally accredited organization (such as NASM, ACE, NSCA or ACSM), plus current CPR/AED.

- At least 2 years coaching clients 1:1 or in small groups, with a book you built yourself.

- A track record of selling and renewing training packages. You know your monthly revenue and retention.

- Clear communication and coaching that meets clients where they are.

- General nutrition guidance within a trainer's scope, and knowing when to refer to a dietitian.

Pay

- Session commission: start at 40% of every session you deliver, with a path to 45% as an Elite Coach. At our $114 average session rate, that's about $46 a session to start and about $51 at Elite.

- Non-session time: $25/hr for scheduled time outside sessions.

- Seller commission: an extra 10% on every session you sell that another coach delivers, for up to 12 months.

- Membership sales: 10% on new gym memberships you sell.

- At Elite (45%): quarterly production bonuses starting at $500 with no cap, plus 10% on supplement sales.

- Assessments and classes: $20 per fitness assessment and $60 per group class.

Benefits

- Health insurance: KlickWay pays 50% of premiums after 90 days.

- Paid sick leave.

- Employee discounts.

Schedule

Three full-time openings, each built around a set start time: 6 AM, 9 AM or 3 PM. You own that start time every scheduled day. The rest of your 8 hours can be split around when your clients train, as long as you keep the schedule you set with your GM. Tell us which start time you're applying for.

Apply

Along with your resume, tell us your average monthly training revenue and client retention over the last six months, and how you built your book. A few sentences is plenty.
