We are seeking Approval Engineers for our Technical Center China located in Shanghai where we have opportunities across various technical disciplines: hull structure, machinery components/systems, electrical, control and monitoring system, piping, alternative fuel systems, and cargo handling systems.

As Hull Approval Engineer, you will be at the center of impactful tasks and projects, where you will:

- Conduct plan approval for hull drawings based on technical Rules and Regulations for new building vessels
- Provide technical support to internal and external clients, i.e. yards and designers
- Address technical query from sales, marketing, and business development teams
- Participate in innovative projects with strategic partners in global shipping industry

- Hold Master or above degree in naval architecture, ship engineering or equivalent
- Possess hands-on (or first) experience in ship hull strength analysis
- Are passionate about building technical competence and engineering skills
- Are self-motivated and solution-oriented
- Enjoy trustful collaboration and building relationships with customers and colleagues
- Can travel to support projects and attend customer meetings
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Share our value for safeguarding life, property, and the environment
