About this role
Accountabilities
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of software engineers and a Technical Product Manager.
- Guide the design, implementation, and optimization of MEV services and Ethereum mempool transaction workflows.
- Define and deliver product offerings designed to maximize validator gains and profitability.
- Collaborate with DeFi searchers to develop tools and services that improve trading execution.
- Contribute hands-on code to the Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN) and related services.
- Ensure backend systems deliver high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Promote strong engineering practices, including code quality, automated testing, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience managing an engineering team, including mentoring developers and building high-performing teams.
- 5+ years of experience designing, building, testing, and deploying scalable distributed backend systems.
- 3+ years of professional experience in blockchain engineering.
- Deep proficiency in Go (Golang) for backend development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to break down complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A combination of technical leadership experience and hands-on engineering expertise.
